Reno Time!
As Wild Rock rolls into 20 years of being in business and almost 15 years at our present location - it's time for a facelift!
If you have been shopping at our store this month you may have noticed some changes...... bathrooms missing, plastic walls, dumpsters in the parking lot.... it's Reno Time!
Our contractors are hard at work inside and outside getting the store revamped for a late fall/early winter relaunch!

"The World is collapsing around our ears..." REM
In all this doom and gloom it is good to know time is still cheap and very, very effective. I was thumbing through a recent edition of The Guardian, when I came across an article that investigated how British parents were struggling to satisfy their children's perceived demand for name brand clothing, sneakers and technology items. This struggle was driving them to work longer hours and commute further to higher paying jobs.
The problem was when the children were polled what they really wanted more than anything was more time with their parents.
As we watch this slow train wreck take shape across the globe it behooves us to reflect on little lessons like this and modify our decisions along the way. It appears we are turning into the Haves and Have Not's and with this divergence, it appears, comes unrest. Eventually I hope folks figure out having enough is very important but having more does not really add to your quality of life. Maybe if you have enough you can spread a little around to those who do not.
Before you think I am looking for a communist system; I am thinking if you have a lot of time, volunteer some of it to the less fortunate; if you have more than enough money; back off on the money making efforts and take the time and/or give some money to those who need this.Some of the people in need live in your house and are called family.
